Musician Aviv Marc, known as the lead singer of Subway Suckers, died today (Monday) at age 63 following a lung disease he had been battling. His funeral will take place tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. at the Yarkon Cemetery. Marc, who worked with many prominent artists such as Ram Orion, Maor Cohen and Yahali Sobol, also worked as a sound engineer and was considered a prominent figure in the country's rock and roll scene. About a decade ago, he revealed he had been diagnosed with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and in recent years he was hospitalized many times.
