Ofir Sarid, who headed Melisron until last week, died at the age of 54. Sarid served as CEO of the income-producing real estate company and chairman of its subsidiary Aviv Melisron, and is survived by his wife and three children. "Melisron bows its head and announces with a heavy heart and great sorrow his untimely passing," the company stated. "Sarid was a beloved and respected manager by the company's board of directors, management and employees, who are deeply grieving his passing." Earlier this month, Sarid went on medical leave due to medical circumstances. Last week, the company announced that due to the medical circumstances he was ending his tenure, and that it had begun the process of finding a CEO.
