Defense Minister Israel Katz said during a visit to the Navy base in Ashdod that 'all Hamas is doing now is sitting and updating targets in border-adjacent communities through entities providing them with intelligence, like the Iranians.' According to Katz, Hamas 'is still planning how to continue even now, which is why we must achieve victory here. No organization is invincible.'
