Report: 'Israel attacked regime supply lines in southern Syria'

|
Lebanese network Al-Mayadeen, affiliated with Hezbollah, reported that "Israeli aircraft launched a series of airstrikes in the Al-Suwayda area in southern Syria and around the city of Daraa." According to the report, the attacks targeted "supply lines of military factions affiliated with the Syrian regime." The report comes amid violent confrontations between Druze fighters and groups of Bedouin militants, who are fighting alongside forces loyal to the new president Ahmad al-Shara. Israel has conducted strikes in the area over the past two days to assist the Druze.
