The Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court convicted Oren Ben Moshe, former commander of the police fraud unit, after he admitted in a plea bargain to a series of offenses including indecent acts, abuse of office power and obstruction of justice. According to the indictment, Ben Moshe installed documentation and surveillance equipment in the women's bathroom at his unit, using equipment provided to him for investigation purposes. Through this equipment, he documented dozens of women naked while using the toilet. In some cases, he also used his mobile phone. When female officers in the unit discovered the recording devices, Ben Moshe lied to them, claimed he would handle the matter, and instructed them not to report it.
