U.S. court blocks Trump's order against ICC staff: 'Unconstitutional'

|
A U.S. district judge has blocked the enforcement of Donald Trump's presidential order against employees of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, which was imposed due to "activities against U.S. citizens or its allies, including Israel." Judge Nancy Torresen sharply criticized the order, calling it an "unconstitutional interference with freedom of speech." The order imposed sanctions on, among others, prosecutor Karim Khan, who filed arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
