IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir spoke at the ceremony for the changing of command of the military colleges at Camp Dayan in Glilot Base. Against the backdrop of the conflict with Defense Minister Israel Katz over the upcoming round of IDF appointments, Zamir called in his speech for "mutual trust and full cooperation" between the political and military echelons. Zamir added: "Mutual trust and full cooperation are the keys to success. Victory on the battlefield depends not only on military strength but also on inter-rank cohesion. Only this way will we ensure decisive outcomes. At the core of cohesion is trust which brings strength. When they work in harmony, we can break the enemy and win."
