A diplomatic delegation from Fiji, led by Ambassador Filipo Tarakinikini who was appointed as Fiji's ambassador to Israel, arrived this week for their first visit to the country as part of preparations to establish an embassy in Jerusalem. The delegation visited the capital to conduct required risk assessments and handle administrative arrangements ahead of the embassy's opening. Fiji's Foreign Ministry stated: "The establishment of the diplomatic mission in Jerusalem symbolizes the long-term relations between the countries and the commitment to deepening cooperation."
