MK Merav Cohen from Yesh Atid responded to comments made by MK Meir Porush in an interview with ynet, where he explained that he is striking outside the Attorney General's office in protest of the arrest of ultra-Orthodox draft dodgers, and his statement that there were more casualties on Yom Kippur while now they want to draft Haredim. "They dodge service and threaten everyone, even with violence, if they are drafted like their secular and religious brothers," she wrote in a post on X, adding that "the Yom Kippur War lasted 19 days. The October 7 war will soon be going on for two years. Enough time to draft five or six cycles of Haredim."
