Fashion designer Giorgio Armani has passed away at the age of 91. The Armani Group eulogized: "The creator, founder and driving force behind the company, Giorgio Armani, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. He worked until his final days and dedicated himself to the company he founded, his designs and the various projects he initiated." Armani had been feeling unwell in recent months, and in June was forced to miss Men's Fashion Week in Milan. As a result, Armani did not attend one of his fashion shows for the first time ever in his long career.
