The prosecution filed an indictment with the Haifa District Court against Hussein Hojirat, 24, from Bir al-Maksur, for premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances of the defendant Hojirat, who was a witness to the murder of Ali Sawa'ed in Shfar'am and was himself shot and wounded in that incident. According to the indictment, the defendant was murdered to prevent him from testifying in the murder case, against the backdrop of an ongoing blood feud between the Sawa'ed family and the Khaldi family.
