Recall expanded for Nutrilon infant formula

|
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries announced an expansion of the voluntary recall of specific batches of Nutrilon Stage 1 (400 and 800 grams) and Nutrilon AR (400 and 900 grams), following regulatory review and an update from the manufacturer in Europe. The Ministry of Health updated this, adding that the recall is being carried out as a precautionary measure, as the manufacturer reported that some products used ARA-type fatty acid supplied by a certain supplier, which was identified as a possible source of elevated levels of the cereulide toxin.
