The police announced that yesterday a decision was made to recruit 7 reserve companies and 6 spearhead companies of Border Police reserve volunteers. The police said that approximately 600 reserve fighters "were mobilized yesterday across Border Police areas in all sectors throughout the country, deployed in the field and operated shoulder to shoulder with Israel Police officers and regular Border Police fighters from various units. The Border Police is prepared with all its forces to thwart and prevent terror attacks, deal with riots and protect settlements through reinforcement and specialized training."
