Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said that "transferring security control in Gaza to foreign forces endangers Israel." Bennett added: "Handing over control of our fate to Qatar, which finances Hamas, is Oslo on steroids. How did we reach a situation where our soldiers need to approve movements of Israeli forces with the American command in Kiryat Gat? The State of Israel is not a protectorate. I demand immediate publication of all commitments and concessions being formulated behind the backs of Israeli citizens."
