The genetic parents of baby Sofia, from the tragic embryo mix-up at Assuta Hospital, have filed a request with the Supreme Court for an additional hearing on the case, citing what was defined as "a decision that establishes new exceptional precedent with broad public implications." In a majority ruling issued about two weeks ago, the Supreme Court judges determined that the couple who has raised Sofia until now will be recognized as her legal parents.
