Syrian Kurds deny attacking regime: 'Exercising our right to defense'

|
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the military force of Kurds in northeastern Syria, denied attacking regime soldiers last night and stated that "our forces are exercising their right to legitimate defense. We reject the Defense Ministry's claims that their positions were attacked by us. We emphasize that the calm must be respected, and call on the government to restrain the rebellious factions." Earlier, the Ministry reported that four military personnel and three civilians were wounded in an attack by Kurdish forces in the city of Manbij.
