The death of a police officer who was shot in the village of Zalafa in the Ma'ale Iron Regional Council, near Umm al-Fahm, during a chase after an ATV has been confirmed. Initially, Magen David Adom reported that the 28-year-old officer was seriously wounded, and later he died of his wounds in the hospital.
