Toronto police arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of setting fire to hundreds of Israeli flags near a church in the city, Canadian authorities said. According to the local police statement, the suspect removed the flags from the church entrance on October 7 of this year and set them on fire. He was identified three days after the incident during a protest in the city center and was charged with arson and causing damage. The church placed 1,200 new Israeli flags at its entrance in response to his actions.
