Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer jumped to sixth place in Newsweek magazine's ranking of the world's smartest and most advanced hospitals. The ranking examined 350 hospitals from 30 countries around the world. Sheba is the only Israeli medical center in the top ten, alongside medical institutions such as Mayo Clinic and Massachusetts General Hospital. The smart hospitals ranking evaluates the use and implementation of advanced technologies in healthcare systems, including artificial intelligence, robotics, telemedicine and medical information systems.
