IDF Chief: 'No time to rest on our laurels, focus returns to returning hostages and dismantling Hamas'

|
IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir held a situational assessment with General Staff Forum members following the ceasefire with Iran taking effect, where he said, "A significant chapter has ended, but the confrontation with Iran is not over. We have set back Iran's nuclear project by years, as well as their missile project, but despite the phenomenal achievement - we must keep our feet on the ground. Many challenges lie ahead. We must stay focused, there's no time to rest on our laurels. Now the focus returns to Gaza - to returning the hostages and dismantling Hamas' rule. I am proud to have the privilege of commanding the organization during this time."
