Soroka Hospital: Renovation work of building hit by Iranian missile to begin soon

|
Soroka Hospital spokesperson reported that renovation work will begin soon, including external reinforcement of the northern surgical hospitalization building and the non-reinforced operating room complex located in an adjacent building, which were shut down following a direct hit from an Iranian missile. The renovation was planned before the missile strike. It was also reported that due to this, surgical activity is currently being conducted in the reinforced operating room complex in the southern hospitalization building, which has fully resumed operations. At the same time, surgical activity has been expanded to afternoon hours to accommodate additional cases requiring short hospitalization. Overall, surgical activity will be more limited than usual.
