Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on his X account that his country "remains committed to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)." Araghchi added in the tweet that "Iran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will go through the 'Supreme National Security Council' - for clear security reasons." Recently, the Iranian parliament passed a law prohibiting any cooperation between the regime and the IAEA, and yesterday President Masoud Pezeshkian signed the law.
