The death toll from the Houthi attack on the cargo ship Eternity C in the Red Sea has risen to four. This was reported by the European Union maritime security force operating in the area. The attacked ship flies the Liberian flag and was operated by a Greek company, and this is the first incident since June last year in which there have been fatalities from Houthi attacks on ships in the region. At the same time, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) confirmed to Reuters that the cargo ship Magic Seas - which was attacked by the Houthis on Sunday near the port city of Hodeidah in western Yemen - has sunk at sea.
