Syrian security forces arrested the ISIS leader in Damascus, Taha al-Zoubi, known as the "governor of Damascus" in the Islamic State organization, in a joint operation with the U.S.-led international coalition in the rural area of the Syrian capital. This was announced by the head of the Internal Security Department of Damascus province, General Ahmed al-Dalti, to Syria's official news agency "SANA". He added that al-Zoubi, also known as Abu Omar Tabia, was arrested in the al-Muadia area along with several other men.
