Netanyahu: 'The Land of Israel is acquired through suffering - we will bring back all hostages'

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the signing ceremony of Yeruham's framework agreement and thanked the local council for naming a street after his father, Professor Ben-Zion Netanyahu. "The way to develop the south is not just through government effort, it's a combination of government effort together with private initiative," he said. "The Land of Israel is acquired through suffering - the fallen, the hostages. But we don't believe the Land of Israel is acquired through restrictions. We want to reduce limitations and bureaucracy." Netanyahu also said: "Today we brought back two deceased hostages, we will bring everyone back. We are determined to return all the rest - both the deceased and the living."
