National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir responded to the Supreme Court's decision to accept the Association for Civil Rights' petition regarding the Prison Service's food policy for security prisoners, including terrorists from gangs. He said, "Supreme Court judges, do you belong to Israel? Our hostages in Gaza don't have a Supreme Court protecting them. Gangs of murderers and abhorrent rapists, to our shame, have a Supreme Court protecting them." According to him, "We will continue to provide imprisoned terrorists in prisons with the minimum conditions established by law."
