Opposition leader Yair Lapid said at the beginning of the faction meeting that "the US dictated to Israel an arrangement in Gaza." He added: "Make no mistake, I trust the Trump administration much more than I trust Netanyahu's extremist and negligent government - and still with his own hands Netanyahu is turning us into a vassal state that receives dictates regarding its security."
