Hadash, Ta'al and Balad have agreed to reestablish the Joint List, which will run together in the upcoming elections. Hadash chairman Youssef Jabareen will head the list, followed by Ta'al chairman Ahmad Tibi, with Balad party chairman Sami Abu Shehadeh in third place. Further down the list, the fourth spot is designated for Hadash, fifth for Balad, sixth and seventh for Hadash, eighth for Balad and ninth for Ta'al, in rotation with the sixth spot. The list chairman will be Jabareen, and the faction chairman will be Tibi. The official announcement of the merger is expected within the next 48 hours.
