IDF Chief to Troops in Lebanon: 'Keep Removing the Threat, No Limit on Use of Force'

|
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited southern Lebanon and held an operational situation assessment. He told troops in the field: "Since the start of Operation Lion's Roar, more than 2,000 Hezbollah terrorists have been eliminated. Your mission is to remove every threat from our communities and from our forces. All of the IDF's capabilities are at your disposal, you have no limit on the use of force for this purpose, continue the mission to locate the enemy in the area and destroy them. We have a historic opportunity to change the regional reality in the multi-arena campaign. Cooperation with the United States military and coordination continue at all times. In Iran we have another series of targets ready for attack. We are on high alert to return to a powerful and extensive campaign that will further weaken the Iranian regime."
