IDF and Shin Bet forces eliminated the deputy commander of the Islamic Jihad's Beit Hanoun Battalion in Gaza during a joint operation. This was announced by the IDF and Shin Bet spokespersons. "The terrorist planned and directed dozens of terror attacks against IDF forces in Beit Hanoun and participated in the October 7 massacre," they reported. In additional operations, the forces eliminated the deputy head of the anti-tank array in the Islamic Jihad's Gaza City Brigade and several other terrorists from various terror organizations in the Strip, based on intelligence from the Southern Command and Shin Bet, in cooperation between Fire Brigade 990 of Division 99, combat intelligence units and the Air Force.
