Bat Yam Mayor: 'Those who were in protected spaces were either not harmed at all or lightly injured'

|
Bat Yam Mayor Tzvika Brot addressed the Iranian missile strike on a building in his city, where six people were killed and seven others are listed as missing, telling Army Radio that "they had a kind of non-standard protected space inside the building that was supposed to be a garbage chute. Those who were there survived - they were either not injured or only lightly wounded." He added: "We haven't debriefed everyone yet, but this came up in conversation with the first injured. We know that some of the casualties were not in a protected space, but I cannot say about all of them."
