Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the deaths of Corporal Yinon Nuriel and Captain Amir Saad in Khan Younis from an explosive device attached to an armored personnel carrier, and the announcement that Advanced Staff Sergeant (res.) Betzalel Yehoshua from Shabak died of his wounds after being injured in combat in southern Gaza Strip. He said: "My wife and I send our condolences to the dear families, and in the name of the entire nation we embrace them in their time of heavy grief." He added: "Our brave fighters risked their lives in the campaign to defeat the Hamas murderers and for the sacred mission of freeing our hostages. We will not relent from these missions until victory is achieved."
