|
The police prosecution unit filed an indictment against two residents of Araba, aged 31 and 26, who attacked and threatened security guards at the Northern Medical Center (Poriya) last week. The report of the incident was received at the police hotline on October 19, and an initial investigation revealed that a patient who arrived at the emergency room requested to enter accompanied by several people. The security guards explained to him that entry was permitted with one companion, so an argument developed during which threats were made and the patient entered with additional companions despite the instructions. Later, the security guards came to remove the other companions from the premises and the patient got up from his bed and head-butted one of the security guards in the face. The second suspect attacked another security guard and threatened additional security guards with a chair.
