IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi held a situation assessment at the Northern Command. During the visit, Halevi told reserve forces: "We will continue to operate, remove threats and weaken Hezbollah to protect northern communities and the State of Israel." He stated, "We rely only on ourselves and defend ourselves with our own forces. The campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon is not over - we will pursue them and continue to weaken them until their collapse. We will persist in operating beyond the border to remove emerging threats." Earlier, the IDF spokesperson announced that the 'HaMapatz' Division has completed its mission on the northern border and will move to operate in other sectors.
