The Health Committee approved the appointment of MK Yoni Mishraqi (Shas) as committee chair, returning to the position previously held by outgoing chair Limor Son Har-Melech (Jewish Power). Mishraqi and his party colleagues resigned last year from their government positions and committee chairmanships during the dispute over the draft exemption law, amid the arrest of ultra-Orthodox men required to enlist.
