High Court: Concern that food supply for security prisoners does not meet legal standard

Netael Bandel|
The High Court of Justice has accepted a petition from the Association for Civil Rights regarding the Israel Prison Service's food policy for security prisoners, including Nukhba terrorists. The panel of judges, by a majority of two to one, determined that "there is concern that the current format of food supply for prisoners does not sufficiently ensure compliance with the legal standard." Judges Daphna Barak-Erez and Ofer Grosskopf accepted the petition, while Judge David Mintz remained in the minority opinion.
