Israeli official to Saudi network: 'We warned - we'll strike Dahiyeh if Hezbollah is not disarmed'

|
A senior Israeli official told Saudi television network Al-Arabiya that "assessments indicate Hezbollah has managed to smuggle hundreds of short-range missiles from Syria. We've conveyed a message that we might attack Beirut's Dahiyeh again if Hezbollah is not disarmed." According to the official, "Egypt has joined the mediation plan to prevent escalation. We will not withdraw from the five areas in southern Lebanon in the near future. There are serious assessments that Hezbollah has begun rebuilding its capabilities, we will not allow the reconstruction of the direct line of Lebanese villages on the northern border."
