Fire and Rescue Services reported that the source of the fire that broke out last night in an apartment in Petah Tikva was a lithium battery of a two-wheeled riding vehicle. One person who was trapped in the apartment was rescued. "Israel Fire and Rescue calls on the public to ensure safe use of batteries and charging according to guidelines," the statement said, "An independent smoke detector should be installed in every residential apartment."
