Los Angeles police announced that Fernando Ramirez, 29, the suspect in a hit-and-run outside a nightclub in the city, has been charged with assault "with a deadly weapon." According to local authorities, the driver injured at least 30 people, including seven in critical condition, outside a nightclub in the East Hollywood neighborhood. Police reported that the vehicle hit a taco cart and then struck patrons after the driver himself had been thrown out of the nightclub earlier.
