Security officials estimated that military action in Lebanon "will intensify soon," but that for now "the center of gravity will remain Iran." They claimed that Hezbollah will absorb "severe blows that we have refrained from delivering until now. The operation will be very powerful. There will be severe and deep damage to their ability to launch rockets and missiles. We won't reach a situation where they have no missiles, but the goal is a clear pushback beyond the Litani River." Meanwhile, a political source said: "The war with Iran will continue for more weeks. We are in an extension of at least another two weeks."
