Hundreds of Druze are protesting in the city of As-Suwayda in Syria under the slogan "self-determination" and demanding independence, in the shadow of the massacre carried out last month in the largest Druze city in the country. In footage from the demonstration, several protesters were seen waving Israeli flags. One of the channels affiliated with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa criticized the protest, claiming it "encourages internal Syrian division."
