Avi Doron (Motola), a 49-year-old Israeli and Swiss citizen, was sentenced to 14 years in temporary imprisonment for participating as a mercenary in the war alongside Ukraine. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Justice, which noted that the Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) - a region in Ukraine under Russian occupation - issued the ruling. The sentence was given in Doron's absence, as the Russians have not been able to arrest him.
