Four ultra-Orthodox Jews aged 19-29, including Israeli, Russian and American citizens, were arrested in St. Petersburg, Russia on suspicion of "hooliganism" after dancing and taking pictures near the local security service building (FSB, successor to the KGB) in the city. Sources in the local police told Russian news agency TASS that the suspects were detained after returning from the city's synagogue and noted they have been held in a detention facility for two days. The Jewish community in Russia said the four were detained without documents, and after the city's community intervention they were immediately released - however, according to local police, they remain in custody.
