Bennett and Lieberman slam government over Bnei Brak riots: 'Giving them backing'

|
Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman and former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who arrived in Bnei Brak, condemned the riots in the city and pointed an accusatory finger at the government. Bennett said: "Here - not in Ramallah, a violent mob chased after IDF female soldiers, humiliated them and tried to lynch them. Netanyahu and the ultra-Orthodox parties, what did you think would happen when you turned a blind eye to the calls of 'we will die and not enlist'?" Lieberman added: "The terrorists who attacked IDF female soldiers in the heart of Bnei Brak are not 'fringe elements,' they are not an extremist handful, not wild weeds. They grow out of a reality that receives backing from the ultra-Orthodox leadership and from the government."
