Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Brigadier General (Res.) Amir Avivi, founder of the 'Securityists' movement, has given up his reserved spot on the Likud's Knesset list after being placed in the unrealistic 35th position. Netanyahu emphasized, however, that Avivi will serve as an 'external minister' if Likud forms the next government.
