Some 50,000 visitors flocked to nature reserves and national parks across the country over the weekend. The Nature and Parks Authority reported that the leading sites were the Dor-Habonim Beach Reserve, Tel Ashkelon, Ein Hemed and Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek). It was also reported that some 2,600 visitors spent the holiday eve at the authority's overnight parking lots, with the leading sites being Tal Forest and Achziv Beach.
