Riki Siton, a mother of 10 from Bnei Brak who volunteers daily at the Hostages Square providing a space for conversation, prayer, meeting and hugs; Rabbi Shmuel Slotky, who lost his two sons in combat on October 7; and Rachel Tedesa Malkai, who immigrated to Israel with her family during Operation Solomon and founded the 'Ethiopian Women Empowerment' organization, lit the 'Bridge to Communities' torch. Siton dedicated the torch 'to the honor of the Almighty, in whose hands we always are, and in honor of Tal and Julie Kuperstein and all the hostages' families.' Rabbi Slotky lit the torch in honor of 'thousands of converts who chose to join the Jewish people specifically during wartime.'
