It has been cleared for publication that Border Police fighter, Staff Sergeant David Haviyar Amrani, is the person killed in the shooting in the Kiryat Hasharon neighborhood area of Netanya. According to suspicions, he opened fire at police forces, who neutralized him. Amrani, 20, from Netanya, enlisted for mandatory service in the Border Police in August 2024. Upon completing his training, he was assigned to serve in Hebron with the West Bank Border Police, and about eight months ago transferred to serve in Company 39 in the unit. He is survived by his parents and two brothers, and notification was delivered to his family.
