Hostage survivors Matan Tzangauker and Ilana Gritzewsky have become engaged. Matan's mother, Einav Tzangauker, who campaigned throughout the war for his release, announced the engagement on her X account. The couple was kidnapped to the Gaza Strip on October 7. Matan was freed from Hamas captivity in the latest hostage deal in October, while Ilana, who was released in the first hostage deal in November 2023, subsequently joined the struggle for his release. In the picture shared by Einav, Matan and Ilana are seen raising their glasses, and she wrote in the post: "My victory picture ๐ฉต Ilana & Matan."
