Suspect in deadly Rehovot hit-and-run has detention extended by 4 days; suspected of drunk driving

The Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court extended the detention of 23-year-old Anton Visuta by four days. He was arrested on suspicion of hitting 17-year-old Gaia Oren with his vehicle last night as she was crossing the street in Rehovot, causing her death. Police are attributing to him offenses of negligent homicide, drunk driving and more.
